He was wearing a moon boot and did not play any part in the rest of the game or the final Test. He was subsequently not considered for the Asia Cup 2025 which begins on September 9.
Pant remained in England on vacation and still has strapping on his foot as revealed in his latest social media post. The Indian vice-captain is expected to be back at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru soon to follow up on rehabilitation. Thew wicket-keeper has received a timeline from specialists and will work towards regaining full fitness shortly.
