Deputies and the traffic unit responded to a report of a car crashed into a building on Sunday morning.
When they arrived, they discovered that a woman realized a driver's worst fear when she accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of her brakes and accelerated into the building in front of her.
The crash occurred at a building near County Line Road and South University Boulevard.
A portion of the building was left unusable, but fortunately, the business was able to remain open and function as it typically would.
