One person died in a late-night Saturday crash along the South Platte River in Denver’s Overland neighborhood, police said.
Two motorists crashed Saturday night near South Santa Fe Drive and West Evans Avenue, southeast of the Overland Golf Course and Ruby Hill Park, according to a 10:08 p.m. post on X from the Denver Police Department.
One motorist, who has not been publicly identified, died in the crash, police said.
Information about additional injuries, the types of vehicles involved, the cause of the crash and if any charges are being investigated was not immediately available on Sunday.
The roadways were closed Saturday night for the crash cleanup and investigation, but had fully reopened Sunday morning, police said at 5:24 a.m.
