Shemar Moore Addresses S.W.A.T. Exiles Future
In an Instagram post to kick off the weekend, Moore got fans’ attention with a gym selfie. Moore was on fire in the picture, captioning it "No Days Off," but that didn’t distract some from pressing for answers.
“How come there hasn’t been any more news or any posts of the new swat filming,” asked a fan.
Moore took the time to respond with an answer that isn’t going to please fans at all.
“because CHANGE doesn’t make everybody happy… and.. it takes TIME to build a NEW SHOW that the people will LIKE and NOT talk s--t about!!! I’M HERE TO WIN!!! Me and GOD have an agreement!!!!! BE PATIENT!!!!,” he wrote.
The actor’s answer got a reply from one fan, staying positive about S.W.A.T. Exiles. “was wondering too. I know the new SWAT Exile will be amazing. As you said change takes time. Leave it in God's hands to work everything out. It's gonna be alright.?,” declared the fan.
One fan replied, “One of my favorite human being, can’t wait for the SWAT to roll again. #fillthegaps #stayliquid.”

Drama surrounding S.W.A.T. Exiles
S.W.A.T. fans have been through the wringer with the CBS show. It was canceled twice, only to be revived before the third time cancellation stuck. Good news soon followed, though with the announcement of S.W.A.T. Exiles.
Sony Pictures Television ordered 10 episodes of the spin-off, but the show will not air on CBS. Instead, S.W.A.T. Exiles is being shopped around for a new home.
Based on Moore’s update, it doesn’t sound like fans will be getting the S.W.A.T. spin-off anytime soon.
There has been a lot of backlash surrounding S.W.A.T. Exiles, including some S.W.A.T. stars, like David Lin, speaking out about being excluded from the new series. Moore defended keeping the S.W.A.T. franchise alive, using a Tom Brady comparison.
“I’m not saying I’m Tom Brady. But I’m the Tom Brady of S.W.A.T., that’s not arrogant. That’s not ego. It’s a fact. I’m the quarterback. I’m Shemar Moore, aka Hondo,” he declared via social media.
Months later, and S.W.A.T. Exiles isn't on strong footing just yet, but Moore is asking fans to be patient.
