The original lineup, which debuted in 2006, featured sour orange, cherry, grape and blue raspberry flavors, while a secondary release in the following year included sour tangerine, green apple, strawberry and blue raspberry. It's unclear exactly when it went out of stock for the last time, but seems to have been in the early 2010s.
Starburst Sour, which Mars calls a “taste buds adventure,” will hit the shelves in four flavors: Sour Green Apple, Sour Blue Raspberry, Sour Watermelon and Sour Strawberry. All four promise a “burst of sour to make your mouth pucker."
