Simply put, it's because Hudson is 24 and Belichick, an NFL legend, is 73. (To save you the arithmetic, that's a nearly 49-year age gap.)
Hudson's become a media darling since news of of their romance broke, at times by choice and at times perhaps in spite of herself: She delivered huge numbers for The Sports Gossip Show despite not actually being a guest on it, attempted toshut down a CBS News interview with the former New England Patriots coach, competed for a Miss Maine title in the 2025 Miss USA pageant and even allegedly cast herself in a DunkinSuper Bowl commercial that featured Belichick alongside Casey and Ben Affleck, Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith and Succession star Jeremy Strong. (She later dubbed herself the "Dunqueen" on Instagram.)
Most recently, Hudson filed a trademark application for the word "golddigger."

Snoop Dogg was a presenter at the NFL Honors in February 2025. Speaking onstage, he cracked, "I've been a football fan for a long, long time. I mean, I remember back when the Cowboys was good. How did Belichick meet Jordon Hudson?
According to TMZ Sports, Hudson and Belichick first met on a flight from Massachusetts to Florida in February 2021, when Hudson was 19 years old. He signed her Deductive Logic textbook at the time, writing, "Thanks for giving me a course on logic!"
They were first spotted together in New Orleans in January 2023, then again in the Big Easy that September, with TMZ Sports confirming their relationship in June 2024.

An insider told Us Weekly that Jordon Hudson's net worth was in the $1 million to $2 million range before she and Belichick started dating, citing her modeling and real estate earnings. That said, since they've gotten together, Realtor.com reported that she's amassed an additional $7.5 million in real estate holdings in the Massachusetts area, buying up three multi-family homes, plus a $610,000 cottage for herself.

Hudson withdrew from her most recent cheerleading team in May 2025, according to a letter obtained by the Washington Post, citing the media attention she brought to the organization as being unfair to the rest of her teammates.

A pageant insider speculated to Page Six that Hudson's public romance with Belichick likely hurt her chances at the crown, explaining, "I don't care how pretty she is or how well she did in the interview [portion], what she's doing out there in the public speaks way more to me than anything else and … at this very moment I don't think she would be a great representative. There's too much drama and negativity behind who she's dating and what she’s doing to ever consider her as a title holder [or] Miss USA [material]—not a chance."

Aside from Belichick, Hudson previously dated Maine-based businessman Joshua L. Zuckerman, now 65, until just before getting together with Belichick.
Zuckerman's hobbies include fishing and golfing (sometimes doing the latter alongsidePresident Donald Trump, of whom he's a big fan).
He told TMZ Sports of his past romance with the much-younger Hudson, "I've been getting calls left and right from news stations about my relationship with Jordon Hudson. A source told Us Weekly that Hudson has, in fact, dated men her own age, but found them "immature," adding that she "didn't like the way she was treated" and has thus preferred the company of "older gentlemen."

Hudson grew up in Hancock, Maine, with two sisters and two brothers; her parents Lee and Heath Hudson are divorced. She proudly repped her hometown in the Miss Maine pageant.
