ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Recognizing the work of community members and others who make sure people have access to high-quality healthcare. That was the goal of Jordan Health’s annual “Patients’ First Luncheon.”
The event was held Friday afternoon. President and CEO of Jordan Health Dr. Linda Clark was there, along with other city leaders and community partners.
During the event, Clark talked about the need for a Community Health Village model, discussing how it could help give needed care and resources for many throughout the community.
“We’ve always had the structure of being a one-stop shop. It’s important to be able to get all your needs met in as few stops as possible,” said Clark. “And the village concept is that on steroids. Everybody under one roof, working together, collectively toward the health of the individual.”
Clark said at Jordan Health, they say “it takes a village to heal a village.”
