ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Two bridges in downtown Rochester will close at times this weekend as city crews work to remove logs and other debris from the Genesee River.
The Main Street Bridge will close on Saturday and the Andrews Street Bridge will close on Sunday, both from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drivers and walkers can use the Court Street or Broad Street bridges as detours during those times to cross the river.
Last weekend, it was the Broad Street Bridge that was closed so crews could clean the river. News10NBC’s photojournalist saw logs being pulled out of the water with a crane. City crews told us they also recovered several Veo scooters that were dumped in the river.
