Summer Juniors qualifier and Texas State runner-up Natalie Schneider has sent her verbal commitment to Texas A&M University for the class of 2026.

Schneider attends Keller High School in Keller, Texas, and at the 2025 6A State meet in February, she finished 2nd in the girls 50 freestyle, touching in 22.96 to tie with Cyrah Robinson for the silver medal. She also swam the 200 freestyle relay, which she led off in 23.24, the 200 medley relay where she swam freestyle in 22.57, and the 100 freestyle, finishing 9th in 50.41.
In 2024, she was named a USA Swimming Scholastic All American.
She swam at Summer Juniors for her club team Lakeside Aquatic Club, and she finished 68th in the 50 free (26.80), and 117th in the 50 fly (29.17).

50 free- 22.96 100 free- 50.41 200 free- 1:52.32Texas A&M is a member of the SEC, where they finished 8th at last year’s conference meet, but they were within 100 points of finishing in the top 5.
Schneider will add depth to the program with her sprint freestyle times, with times in the 50, 100, and 200 freestyle events that would have been in the top 10 last season. At the 2025 SEC Championships, it took times of 22.40/48.82/1:46.68 to score in the freestyle events.
She will join Ella McWhorter, Cora Skoog, and Hannah Krueger in College Station for the class of 2030.
