Jessica Chastain earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the event turned into a family affair as her kids made a rare public appearance in honor of their mom.
The Zero Dark Thirty actress posed next to her prestigious award alongside her husband, Gian Luca Passi, at the Thursday, September 4, ceremony. However, their children, daughter Giulietta, 7, and son Augustus, 5, did not participate in the photo opportunity.
That said, Jessica shared her love and devotion to her family during her acceptance speech.
“I want to thank my family, Gian Luca. I want to thank my kids — my everything. This honor belongs to all of you,” the Oscar-winning actress said at the event.
Jessica later added, “To my children, thank you for the way you move through the world — curious, fearless, [and] full of whys, so many whys, reminding me every day to keep learning and keep wondering."

The Interstellar star looked as beautiful as always while receiving her award as she donned a navy blue dress that featured a tight corset-like top and a flowy skirt. The Hollywood star parted her hair to the side as her famous locks fell in loose waves.
Jessica’s family members weren’t the only ones to show their love and support on her big day. In fact, cinema legend Al Pacino led the attendees in an opening speech. Jessica’s The Help costars Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer also attended the event.
Despite her high-profile career, Jessica keeps her personal life private by choosing not to talk about her family. However, the It actress made an exception in 2022 while reflecting on an eye-opening conversation with her daughter, Giulietta.
"Normally, I never talk about my personal life. But I had a conversation with my daughter not that long ago," Jessica told Marie Clair, diving into their conversation on what the child wanted to be when she grows up.
“And she was like, 'I want to be a mama.' And I was like, 'That's a great thing to be. But you know, you can be more than one thing.' She's like, 'What do you mean?'"
