In the trailer, fans caught glimpses of Liz Johnston and Brice Bolden's daughter, Leighton, taking her first steps. The new parents also talked about taking the next step in their relationship as Brice went engagement ring shopping with Liz's siblings, Emma and Alex.
"I've expressed to Brice whenever he feels ready to propose, it should be on his time," Liz told producers.
Meanwhile, Brice admitted, "Of course, you know, I am nervous. Because this is a once-in-a-lifetime thing."
Anna also talked about her boyfriend, Darius, for the first time on 7 Little Johnstons (although, in real time, they seem to have broken up).
"I've been dating someone and it's been going good, and we are both really, really happy," Anna told producers in another clip. "I would love for him to meet my family, but this summer I have been taking a break from the family. For now, I am focusing on my work, my dogs and things that I can control."
A different scene showed Trent Johnston asking his wife, Amber, "Have you heard from Anna?"
To that, Amber said, "She owes her younger siblings a heartfelt apology, not showing up to their graduation."
Elsewhere, Trent and Amber explained to the kids that doctors saw White Matter Disease in Trent's brain, which is "basically caused by sleep apnea," Trent shared. "The neurologist told me that if I do not start treating my sleep apnea right away, it definitely will be the cause of my death."
At the end of the trailer, Trent went over to Anna's house to "confront her about her issues with her family."
"How come you don't come around?" he asked his daughter.
"I mean, I do want to come around," Anna replied, "But it's like, the past 10 years, we've gotten into these arguments."
She later added, "There's a lot of stuff I'm not opening up that have happened to me in the past," to which Trent responded, "A lot of stuff you're not going to open up when you're guilty and at fault."
That's when the trailer ended with Anna declaring, "OK, then I'll walk out right now," before leaving the room.
Will Anna make amends with her family? Will viewers get to see Brice propose and Trent faithfully use his CPAP machine to treat his sleep apnea? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
