At long last, the Dancing with the Stars Season 34 cast has been revealed. After the group of celebrities and their pro partners were announced on Good Morning America on Sept. 3, Parade reported from a source that the process of putting the cast together was still not locked in at the eleventh hour. And it seems we now know who one of the celebs involved in that last-minute casting was: Lauren Jauregui.
"The final cast was being put together up until the 11th hour,” a source previously told Parade. “The network seems to be doing things very differently this year, and were in discussions with a lot of different people going back and forth between which direction they wanted to go casting-wise.”

The source adds, “There were several names for the show who were asked to put their schedules on hold for filming, leading up to very close before the announcement. They were kept in the dark, even the day before the big reveal."
When Parade asked Jauregui if she had informed the rest of Fifth Harmony about her DWTS casting alongside her partner Brandon Armstrong, she revealed that she was one of the aforementioned people kept in the dark.
"Yes," she answered. "I told them this morning, because I found out the day before yesterday. I found out at 4:00 PM on Monday, L.A. time."
"It was a whirlwind," added Armstrong.
