Investigators found Koff may have been associated with Benavidez, the Brighton Police Department said in a news release. He is now facing additional charges of first-degree murder, unlawful termination of a pregnancy, motor vehicle theft and domestic violence and weapons charges.
Benavidez is in custody at the Adams County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond and set to appear in court Monday for a filing of charges hearing, court records show.
