GREECE, N.Y. — Two men are facing charges after Greece Police say they had a stolen handgun.
Police say on Tuesday at about 10:48 p.m. a caller reported that during an argument, a passenger in a car showed a handgun on Weiland Woods Lane and then fled the scene.
At about 11 p.m., police say they found the suspect’s car and stopped it. Both 32-year-old Jose Medina and 22-year-old Ian Johnson were detained without incident.
After searching the car, police say they recovered a loaded Sig Sauer 9mm handgun that was in a black bag under the front passenger seat. Police say the gun was confirmed stolen out of Rochester.
Medina and Johnson were both charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree. They were both brought to the Monroe County Jail.
