“I learned from one Stephen A. Smith that when a certain team in Texas lives up to the expectations that you put out there, you gotta have a little bit of a celebration,” Rodgers joked with Mike Greenberg and Louis Riddick.

“I think we saw flashes of what we saw last year. His mechanics were a little all over the place. Feet were a little all over the place. Gotta give a lot of credit to Matt Patricia; the defensive plan was amazing… everything was just moving a little too fast, for Arch and that’s why you saw those inaccuracies.” Rodgers said.
Despite Manning’s rough, Uncle Rico-esque showing, Rodgers still has confidence he’ll become a good player. He claimed Arch would “win like his uncles” once he develops “between the ears.” We’ll see if the Texas fanbase gives him the breathing room to do so over the next month before a showdown with No. 13 Florida on Oct. 4.
