ROCHESTER, N.Y. – More good weather ahead as kids continue to head back to school Wednesday. Mostly sunny and dry into the afternoon. Unlike yesterday we do not anticipate any pop-up showers or storms to develop this afternoon so plan on rain free conditions into this evening. Temps today will reach the low 80s.
A cold front will move into the region on Thursday with a couple scattered showers in the morning. Some steadier rain and local thunder will arrive midday into the afternoon. Rain will taper from west to east after 4-5PM and dry out into the evening. Temps will be all over the place. The day starts mild in the 60s and briefly warms into the mid 70s before the rain. After the rain it will be noticeably cooler late in the day as temps fall into the low 60s.
Weather looks nice on Friday and even though a few showers are possible this weekend no rainouts are expected. It will turn cooler with top temps only in the 60s for Saturday and Sunday.
