Three weeks after Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters said he "couldn't give a f--k" about Ozzy Osbourne or Black Sabbath's music, Ozzy's son Jack Osbourne is leaping to his defense.
"Hey Roger Waters, F--k you!" he began the expletive-filled clapback on September 2 on Instagram. "How pathetic and out of touch you've become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bulls--t in the press."
"My father always thought you were a c--t," he added. "Thanks for proving him right." Jack tagged Waters in his post and punctuated the message with a clown emoji.

The heated response came after Waters did an interview with The Independent Ink where he repeatedly insulted the rock legend. “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever state that he was in his whole life,” he said. “We’ll never know. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a f--k.”
He added, "I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. Have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.” Waters seemed to be referring to a 1982 incident amid Ozzy's solo career. He also accused Ozzy of bringing "hundreds of years" of "idiocy and nonsense" into rock culture.
Waters' interview came weeks after Ozzy's death at age 76 due to a heart attack on July 22. Many fans believed his comments to be in poor taste while many were mourning Ozzy, and they took to the comments of Jack's post to show their support.

"Your father was the best judge of character," said one fan, while another added, "I was never a fan of Roger. What he said was totally uncalled for." A third wrote, "He’s only jealous because he will NEVER be as loved or remembered like Ozzy."
Like Ozzy, Waters is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and composer who rose to fame in the 1970s. He is best known as a founding member of Pink Floyd in which he played bass guitar and served as the band’s primary songwriter. While he was responsible for major successes like The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall, he left the band in the 1980s and launched a solo career.
