Fans of HGTV star Ben and Erin Napierare getting some good news following a devastating fire.
TV Insider reported that on August 24, Erin took to her Instagram account to share that the new Laurel, Mississippi establishment, The Heirloom Hotel, had been damaged in a fire. USA TODAY reported that the Napiers and their friends Jim Rasberry, Mallorie Rasberry, and Josh Nowell worked on the hotel while filming an upcoming Home Town spinoff, titled Home Town: Inn This Together.
In the caption of the post, Erin clarified that "no one was inside" the hotel, which was not yet open, during the fire. In addition, she said that "the brave fire fighters from the Laurel FD worked for hours to get it under control." Erin also wrote she wasn't sure if Home Town: Inn This Together will make it to air following the fire.
"I don’t know what will happen next or if you’ll ever get to see this @hgtv show now. I don’t know much of anything," continued Erin in the caption.
According to TV Insider, The Laurel Leader-Call reported that the situation was seemingly caused by an accidental electrical fire.
The hotel's official Instagram account revealed that the Rasberrys, who are married, and Nowell, will be rebuilding the hotel in a September 2 post, per TV Insider. The photo showed the couple and Nowell posing in front of the damaged hotel.
"Round two. It’s never easy to start over, maybe even harder the second time, but we believe this town and these people are worth every ounce of our effort. #TheHeirloom," read the caption of the post.
