Children ages 3, 6 missing from Chicagos South Shore neighborhood

Chicago police are searching for two young children reported missing from the South Shore neighborhood over the weekend.

According to police, 3-year-old Amirrah Gholston and 6-year-old Herman Gholston were last seen on Saturday in the 7500 block of Kingston Avenue, in the company of an individual named Delisa Gear.

    Amirrah is described as a Black female with medium-brown complexion, standing 3-feet-7 inches tall and weighing 38 pounds. She has brown eyes and braided hair, according to a missing person’s alert.

    She was last seen wearing a blue sweater, blue sweatpants and blue gym shoes, according to authorities.

    Herman is described as a Black male with dark brown complexion, standing 4-feet-3 inches tall and weighing 60 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, red sweatpants, a red baseball cap and black shoes.

    Anyone with information is asked to call Area Two SVU detectives at 312-747-8274.
