RUBEN LOFTUS-CHEEK has been called up to the England squad for the first time in almost SEVEN YEARS.
The AC Milan midfielder, 29, has been added to Thomas Tuchel’s squad after Adam Wharton was forced to withdraw after suffering an injury in Crystal Palace’s victory over Aston Villa at the weekend.
Loftus-Cheek was last involved in the England setup back in November 2018, coming off the bench in a game against the USA.
While he was called up in March 2019 too, but withdrew himself from the selection.
