San Francisco police responded to a physical altercation between two people in the 800 block of Brannan Street at approximately 11:13 p.m. Upon arrival, officers noticed an unresponsive man lying on the ground. Aid was rendered, and paramedics were summoned. However, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s death was declared “suspicious,” according to police.
