Sept. 4 — North Hollywood: See a free movie at 2 p.m. This time, it’s the spy thriller “Black Bag,” (Rated R, 2025) directed by Steven Soderbergh. Michael Fassbender plays a British intelligence officer looking for a traitor, which might include his wife (Cate Blanchett.)     Sept. 13-14 — Santa Ana: Fiestas Patrias celebrates Mexican Independence Day on Fourth Street and other downtown environs. The street fair, live music and cultural performances are all free.     Sept. 14 — Newport Beach: The city’s Summer Concert Series wraps up with high energy rock from O.C.-based Tijuana Dogs. The show runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the Newport Beach Civic Center Green.     Sept. 14 — East Los Angeles: The oldest and largest Latino parade in the U.S. starts at 10 a.m. at Cesar Chavez and Mednik avenues as part of the area’s  Mexican Independence Day celebration. (The parade is broadcast live on KABC/7.) Festival starts at 11 a.m. Get there early, bring a hat and water and park for free at the East L.A. Civic Center, 4801 E. Third St., East L.A.     Sept. 14 — Ontario: How about a mystery tea party?
