TCU has made three changes to their coaching staff for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, promoting Carolyn Meier and Jarrod Miller and bringing on Maisyn Klimczak.
Meier has been working with the program since 2021 as an assistant coach. Before moving to Fort Worth, she worked in New York as an assistant coach at Cornell from fall of 2018 until spring of 2021.
She started her coaching career at La Salle University, where she worked as a graduate assistant coach while earning her master’s in education from 2016-2018.
She will step into the Associate Head Coach position, replacing Alice McCall who moved to SMU in June.
Miller served as a graduate assistant last season, working in operations for the Horned Frogs. He has been promoted to the director of operations for the team, and will spend his time “looking after spending logistics and day to day operations, which includes things such as budget, travel, meals, compliance and administrative duties.”
Maisyn Klimczak recently graduated from the University of Wyoming where she was a distance freestyler. At the 2025 Mountain West Championships, Klimczak finished 24th in the 100 back (57.66), 16th in the 500 free (5:01.53), and 14th in the 1650 (16:56.59).
In 2023, Klimczak won the 1650 in 16:20.46, finished 2nd in the 500 free at 4:46.18, and 3rd in the 200 free in 1:48.53.
Klimczak will join the rest of the staff of head coach James Winchester, head diving coach Anthony Crowder, and assistant coaches Greyson Heckman and Graydon Tedder.
TCU will swim their first meet of the season on Saturday, September 27th, when they host Incarnate Word in Fort Worth.
