Blink-182 Brings Back Forgotten Songs Fans Haven’t Heard Live Since 2001

Blink-182 officially kicked off their “Missionary Impossible” Tour on Thursday, August 28 — and longtime fans were treated to a few major surprises.

The show, which marked the band’s first tour of the year and their third since reuniting with guitarist Tom DeLonge in 2022, featured a setlist packed with hits, rarities and some songs that hadn’t seen the stage in more than two decades.

Among the biggest shockers? Blink performed “Online Songs” and “Roller Coaster,” both from 2001’s Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, for the first time in 23 years. They also brought back fan favorite “Josie,” a track they hadn’t played live since 2018 and not with DeLonge since 2014.

Other deep cuts included “Natives” and “Wishing Well” from 2011’s Neighborhoods, both returning to the setlist for the first time since 2014. And in a nod to their punk roots, the band covered The Descendents’ “Hope” — a song they hadn’t performed since 2003.

Of course, no Blink-182 show would be complete without the classics. The night opened with back-to-back crowd-pleasers “The Rock Show” and “First Date,” and included beloved staples like “All the Small Things,” “What’s My Age Again?,” “I Miss You,” “Feeling This” and “Dammit.”

The band also highlighted their latest album, ONE MORE TIME…, performing six tracks including “DANCE WITH ME” and the emotional title track.

Adding to the nostalgic atmosphere, Blink performed on a custom-built stage designed to look like a basement — complete with sticker-covered walls, graffiti and industrial lighting, capturing the band’s scrappy, teenage energy despite their veteran status.

The “Missionary Impossible” Tour continues Friday night in Tampa, with more stops scheduled in Charleston, Raleigh, Virginia Beach, Buffalo, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Kansas City and more.

Blink-182 is also slated to headline major festivals including Sea.Hear.Now in Asbury Park, Riot Fest in Chicago, Shaky Knees in Atlanta and When We Were Young in Las Vegas, where the tour will wrap up on October 18 and 19.
