Levine’s career stretched across five decades, with nearly 100 film and TV credits. According to Tracy's post, he "started out as a cab driver in New York City before chasing Hollywood dreams in California," where he was first credited as a police officer in 1972’s Super Fly. Roles in Death Wish, Dog Day Afternoon, and Abduction quickly followed, often as authority figures. Through the ’70s and ’80s, he appeared on hit shows including Starsky & Hutch, Wonder Woman, and Cagney & Lacey.
