Saturday, September 6, head to Hillsborough for an all-day historical event commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Third Provincial Congress, which met in Hillsborough in 1775 as part of the run-up to the American Revolution. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with free events all over downtown – including academic speakers, a colonial market, Revolutionary-era reenactments, children’s activities, and more.
