LIVINGSTON COUNTY, N.Y. — The Livingston County Board of Supervisors have appointed County Attorney Shannon Hillier as acting / interim county administrator, according to the county’s website.
The county says the board unanimously approved Hillier’s appointment on Wednesday after an executive session at the end of its bi-monthly meeting. Hillier will work with the board and county to help oversee daily operations and continue to advance county initiatives.
On Aug. 12, the county posted to their website that County Administrator David Pribulka resigned on Aug. 6.
The county says Hillier is temporarily taking the role of chief administrative official for the county until a new administrator is selected by the board.
David LeFeber, the chair of the board, said on their website they are “confident in Shannon’s leadership and ability to provide steady guidance during this transition.”
