Despite their political differences, Vice President JD Vance has well wishes for Taylor Swift amid her engagement to Travis Kelce.
"I'm a romantic when I see two people who are in love getting married," the Ohio native, 41, told USA Today during an interview on White House property.
"I just wish 'em the best, and I congratulate 'em, and I hope they have a very long and healthy and happy life together," he continued.

"I think by and large, people want politicians to focus on politics, and they want celebrities to focus on whatever it is that made them famous, whether it's singing or dancing or acting," he said.
Though he's expressed his disapproval of the pop icon in the past, President Donald Trump also congratulated Swift and Kelce, 35.
"I wish them a lot of luck. I think he's a great player, I think he's a great guy," he told reporters during a cabinet meeting.
"I think that she's a terrific person, so I wish them a lot of luck," Trump, 79, continued.

On August 26, Swift and Kelce announced their enchanting engagement with a record-breakingInstagram post that has amassed over 33 million likes.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” they wrote.
