Episode 27 of the Bleacher Nation Cubs Podcast is officially live!
In this week’s episode, Brett and I talk about the series loss (at best) to the Giants, as well as the freedom granted by shifted expectations the rest of the way. After that, we get into the still quite cold Cubs offense, with specific callouts of Seiya Suzuki and Michael Busch.
When we’re done, this week’s game is a discussion of the 2025-2026 Cubs offseason. I take a temperature check on Brett’s opinion of ten of the bigger free agent hitters and pitchers (five each). We also talk about how difficult it may be to navigate playing time between the one-year guys and whoever you may want to bring in.
You can listen to episode 27 anywhere you get your podcasts, including Apple and Spotify, but I’ve also embedded the YouTube recording right here for your convenience! Enjoy! And once again, thanks to Ankin Law for sponsoring the BN Cubs podcast, making it possible!
