ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Students can get free backpacks and school supplies on Saturday at the baseball field at the Loretta Scott Middle School on Genesee Street.
The event will also include food, music, and games. It runs from noon to 5 p.m. A child must be present with a parent or guardian to get the free supplies.
Sweetlady Daycare is presenting the event. There will be some Rochester education leaders and special exhibits at the school supply giveaway.
