ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Chamber of Commerce celebrated inclusivity and equity in the workforce with the fourth annual Inclusive Leadership Awards at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
Fourteen finalists were honored, with the top award going to Marisa Geitner, CEO of Heritage Christian Services. Organizers said her efforts to improve services for people with disabilities set her apart.
“I think that collectively we have a stronger voice, so I think that being here together for over 150 business and community leaders it’s a really powerful celebration and it’s something that we’ll all walk away better for,” said Xander Rohring.
“We all have a role in shaping the future we want to be a part of,” Rohring said.
