DENVER (KDVR) — Former Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler will see jail time after agreeing to a plea deal, ESPN reported on Wednesday.
Cutler was sentenced for a 2024 DUI incident in Tennessee, when he was arrested on Oct. 17.
He rear-ended another car near Nashville. Police reports said he wanted to flee the scene of the crash and offered the other driver $2,000 not to report the crash. An officer asked Cutler if he had been drinking, to which he initially said no and refused to do roadside sobriety tests, but later admitted that he had driven after drinking alcohol, said ESPN.
He was taken to a hospital to collect a blood sample.
Cutler also had two guns in the car, one of which was a loaded pistol.
