Labor Day weekend parties and specials in Pacific Beach, Mission Beach

PACIFIC BEACH – As Labor Day weekend draws near, Pacific and Mission beaches have no shortage of restaurants, bars, and activities to celebrate an off-day for workers.

This year’s holiday falls on Monday, Sept. 1, and Beach & Bay Press surveyed of some local pubs, eateries, and campgrounds – PB Local, Mavericks, Firehouse, Duck Dive, PB Alehouse, Draft in Belmont Park, and Campland on the Bay/Mission Bay RV Resort – to find out what specials they’re offering, and what else they have on tap for the long weekend Aug. 29-Sept. 1.

    PB Local

PB Local is “going bananas” over this Labor Day weekend, encouraging guests to grab a banana suit (from their collection) and join in their Labor Day weekend party.

On an Instagram post, PB Local noted that it will have special guest DJs, long drink specials, and a few other surprises. This menu at this eatery at 809 Thomas Ave. blends some local favorites, pub-style grub and coastal inspirations, resulting in a variety of flavors.
