Hours after the NFL star, 35, and Taylor Swift sent the internet on fire with the record-breakingannouncement on August 26, Nicole, 33, shared a positive message.
The influencer took to her Instagram Story with a clip of actress Tracee Ellis Ross discussing "joy."
"I work at it. I think joy is different from happiness. I feel like happiness is something you can get at 7/11, and joy is something that you earn and work for and takes practice," the Black-ish star, 52, said in the video.
"I feel like joy has legs. I feel like joy has feet," Ross continued.
Nicole—who dated Kelce on-and-off from 2017 to 2022—wrote in the post, "Read about this very concept years ago in a book called Choose Joy: Because Happiness Isn't Enough."

You sit down and you do an hour-long interview with someone and the headline is maybe a one sentence that you said of, 'Yeah, I was heartbroken and devastated because I went through a breakup' and that's the headline.
“It's like, 'D--n, girl, did you listen to anything?' I am human and I take it with a grain of salt now. One day they're going to have to stop calling me someone's ex," she continued, in part.
In March, the Tribe Therepē founder appeared on the Straight to Cam podcast and discussed how she deals with social media scrutiny.
"Number one is just logging the f–k out. That's my Number one go-to, when it becomes too much, I just have to log out. Because it's not the real world, there's life happening beyond the internet," she said, in part.
