The longtime Cowboys owner and All-Pro edge rusher have been in a contract standoff throughout the offseason.

Still, the four-time Pro Bowler Parsons and his mother, Sherese, both appeared at the Cowboys’ final preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons at AT&T Stadium.

The NFL mom was rocking her son’s No. 11 jersey as she was spotted getting greeted by Jones.

But the 82-year-old wasn’t afraid of poking fun at Parsons’ contract feud with his franchise in the interaction.

“Now Micah, why aren’t you out there playing?” Jones said to Sherese.

“You act like you want some money or something.”

Sherese appeared not to take offense at the comment and even seemed to laugh.

Jones and Parsons’ mother then hugged each other.

The 26-year-old is the biggest NFL name still holding out ahead of the 2025 campaign.

Parsons has watched division rival, Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin, and Cincinnati Bengals edge rusher, both end their respective contract feuds with their teams on Monday with new deals.

The fifth-year player was inactive for the game.

Parsons turned heads during the second half of the contest as he laid on a medical table and closed his eyes as his team went on to win 31-13.

After the game, head coach Brian Schottenheimer revealed he would speak with Parsons to talk about his “behavior” after the sideline sequence.
