ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Tuesday will bring similar weather to yesterday. Mainly dry conditions into the start of the afternoon with mixed sun and clouds, a light shower, and a cool breeze. Later in the day will bring a better chance for some pop-up showers and a thundery downpour for parts of the region. Even though most of the day will be dry it’s not a bad idea to grab the umbrella just in case for rain this afternoon. A few lake effect showers tonight into Wednesday morning.
After some clouds and a few showers to start the day Wednesday the afternoon looks pleasant and dry with some sunshine and temps in the low 70s. Turning a bit milder Thursday out ahead of a cold front that will bring some rain and thunder in the evening hours. Behind that front it will be cool and showery on Friday in the 60s.
Looking ahead to the holiday weekend we are anticipating good weather. Sunshine and mainly dry conditions Saturday and Sunday with a slow day to day warming trend. Labor Day looks partly sunny and pleasant in the mid 70s. Temps next week as the kids head back to school look to warm back into the 80s.
