It is unclear what, if anything, the agents were doing outside the popular tourist destination, which draws visitors from countries all over the world.
The agents were spotted just days after President Donald Trump floated the possibility of deploying the National Guard to San Francisco to crack down on crime, following a similar deployment to Washington D.C.
KRON4.com has reached out to DHS for more information. We have yet to hear back.
