No. Novak Djokovic married his high school sweetheart, Jelena Djokovic, in 2014 in a small coastal town in Montenegro. In 2024, in honor of their 10th wedding anniversary, the tennis superstar, whose sense of humor earned him the nickname of "Joker," showed off his sweet (and poetic) side. He posted a video with clips of the couple through the years, writing, "Ten years of joy, Ten years of dreams, Ten years as islands, Ten years as streams."

How did Novak Djokovic and Jelena Djokovic meet?
Novak Djokovic and Jelena Djokovic (née Ristic) met in high school in Serbia. They both played tennis. Jelena dug into her archives and posted a throwback photo of the couple surrounded by 1,001 roses to celebrate two years of dating on Instagram in 2020. The couple dated for eight years before Novak, then a rising tennis superstar, popped the question in Monte Carlo.

Novak Djokovic and Jelena Djokovic got engaged in 2013 in Monte Carlo. Jelena said yes (obviously). The couple still owns property in Monte Carlo, but calls a nine-bedroom mansion in Marbella, Spain, their primary residence these days.

When did Novak Djokovic and Jelena Djokovic get married?
Novak Djokovic and Jelena Djokovic said "I do" in 2014, weeks after The Joker won his second of seven Wimbledon crowns. The couple tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony in Sveti Stefan, a small and utterly stunning town along the Adriatic coast. Another tennis star, American Andy Murray, was one of about 100 guests and reportedly served as the best man. (Murray is now Djokovic's coach.)
Djokovic teased the nuptials after his Wimbledon W, spilling that he was looking forward to "spending time with my family and my future wife." He dedicated the title to his long-time main squeeze and their "future baby." (Jelena was pregnant during the fête.)

Jelena Djokovic is a humanitarian and the National Director of the Novak Djokovic Foundation. Jelena told HuffPost that the foundation's purpose is to give disadvantaged children in Serbia better access to education.
Prior to this role, Jelena majored in luxury brand management at Bocconi University in Milan, a childhood dream come true. Jelena had to be an ace in her own right in the classroom.
"My parents were in no position financially to fund (my) education in a foreign country," Jelena shared in an interview with Hello! Jelena added that she had to work hard to be the "very best student in elementary and high school, in order to win scholarships."
Jelena temporarily worked at an oil company but said the long hours eventually took a toll on her relationship with Novak.
Jelena has also modeled, including for swimwear and lingerie brand Figleaves.com.

Do Novak Djokovic and Jelena Djokovic have kids?
Novak Djokovic and Jelena Djokovic have two children, Stefan and Tara. Jelena was pregnant with the couple's first child, a son named Stefan Djokovic, at the time of their nuptials. They welcomed him to the world on Oct. 22, 2014.
A daughter, Tara Djokovic, was born almost three years later in September 2017.
"Very happy and proud to welcome our little girl Tara to our home," Novak wrote in an Instagram post. "Jelena and I have been hand in hand on this journey and as a man, I have to send my love and admiration to every single women out there for going through so much pain and effort to create life, to bring life and raise a human being… what a blessing to have an opportunity to be a parent."
