Despite the video being light-hearted in nature, many commenters felt Arnold was being insensitive by showing off her designer purchases.

Others called her situation "rich people problems," and that it "must be nice."
Commenters on Reddit echoed the criticism on TikTok, saying the former dancer had "zero self awareness" and that she was "bragging" about her wealth.

Though some viewers were offended by the video, others defended Arnold, saying she earned her money through her dance career and social media influencing.
