The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a tornado warning for southeastern Wayne County until 2 p.m.
The NWS says a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Lyons at 1:20 p.m., moving northeast at 25 mph. Locations impacted include Lyons, Clyde, Rose, Huron, Wolcott, Red Creek, Fairville, South Butler and North Rose.
The NWS warned that flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter, and mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed, with damage to roofs, windows and vehicles expected.
