ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 14-year-old boy from Rochester was taken to the hospital after being stabbed Saturday evening — and the girl taken in custody is also a juvenile.
Rochester Police responded to a stabbing report on Atlantic Avenue at about 8:47 p.m. and learned that the victim had been taken to the hospital by family. The 14-year-old boy arrived at Highland Hospital and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. Police said his injuries are not life-threatening.
While a girl was located and detained, the investigation is ongoing, and police said it’s unknown what circumstances led up to the stabbing. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
