ROCHESTER. N.Y. – A cold front is slowly pushing through the central Great Lakes, and this is triggering a few showers and thundershowers. This front will slowly pass Western New York during Sunday. This should be sufficient to be the focal point for some wet weather. However, it is important to note that even though a passing thundershower will be possible later tonight and around midday on Sunday, there will be significant dry time as well. As the front passes, you can expect much cooler temperatures to arrive which also bring some unsettled and highly changeable weather through mid-week.
Tonight, look for mostly cloudy skies with the chance of a shower or thundershower around midnight. The low temperature will be in the middle 60s. Sunday you can expect partial sunshine for the morning with another few passing showers or thundershowers around midday. The best chance of thunder will be east of Rochester. The temperature will be mostly in the 70s.
