Bellingham Bay Swim Team’s Dylan Fisk has announced his intention to swim and study at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, beginning in the 2026-27 school year.

I chose UNCW because of the strong sense of family, the commitment of the coaches and how well it aligns with my personal goals.”
A rising senior at Bellingham’s Squalicum High School, Fisk won the 100 fly (51.60) and placed 3rd in the 200 IM (1:55.76) as a sophomore at the 2024 Washington State Boys’ 2A Swimming and Diving Championships. He earned PBs in both individual events, as well as the 100 free (47.80) while leading off the runner-up 400 free relay. He has since dropped 1.5 seconds in the 100 free, 2.5 seconds in the 100 fly, and 3.5 seconds in the 200 IM.
Fisk improved his times in every single SCY and LCM event during the last 12 months. He had a big meet in March at the 2025 Kona Senior Spring Invitational, where he won High Point Award and came home with new PBs in the 50/500/1000/1650 free, 100/200 fly, and 200/400 IM. He qualified for Summer Juniors in the 500 free and 200 fly and for Winter Juniors in the 1000 free and 1650 free.
In long course season, Fisk kicked off a summer of PBs at the Pacific Northwest Senior Long Course Championships. There, he came in 3rd in the 200 free (1:54.52, PB), 3rd in the 1500 free (16:16.86, PB), 9th in the 100 fly (57.06, PB), 3rd in the 200 fly (2:07.10, PB), 3rd in the 200 IM (2:08.86), and 3rd in the 400 IM (4:38.58, PB). He also went a best time in the 100 free (54.18) with a relay leadoff. Next, he competed at Sacramento Futures and improved his 100 free (53.78), 400 free (4:03.59), 800 free (8:26.13), 200 fly (2:05.77), and 400 IM (4:33.14) lifetime bests, while finaling in the 200 free (28th), 400 free (6th), 800 free (10th), 200 fly (11th), 200 IM (16th), and 400 IM (10th). Lastly, he swam the 400/800/1500 free and 200 fly at Summer Juniors and improved his freestyle times to 4:01.29/8:24.63/16:07.79.
Fisk is a BBST team record-holder in several events. His best SCY times include:
200 fly – 1:47.48 100 fly – 49.23 1650 free – 15:39.13 1000 free – 9:18.67 500 free – 4:25.67 200 free – 1:38.72 400 IM – 3:57.14Fisk’s best times would have scored in the top 8 of the 1650 free and the ‘A’ finals of the 500 free and 200 fly at the 2025 CAA Championships, which the Seahawks won for the third consecutive year.
