(KRON) – An individual who fell 50 feet was rescued by authorities Friday night, said the San Francisco Fire Department.
An adult person fell approximately 50 feet from a cliff at the intersection of Sansome and Union streets, per fire crews. The fallen victim was stranded on a steep hillside covered in brush, said SFFD.
The fire department coordinated a rescue operation, utilizing its aerial ladder, which allowed firefighters and paramedics to access the victim.
The victim was taken to the trauma center with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, according to SFFD.
