Delta recently announced that it would be cutting seven routes.
Four of the routes are based in St. Paul, Minneapolis. There, the airline is cutting flights from St. Paul to Albuquerque, Buffalo, Fairbanks and Great Falls.
The company is also cutting routes from Salt Lake City to Toronto, and from Atlanta to Fresno.
On the positive side, the airline has added several new routes leaving from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
The airline added routes to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Memphis International Airport, and St. Louis Lambert International Airport, taking flight on September 8.
The routes will initially run at least once a day.
The airline also extended routes leaving from New York’s LaGuardia Airport.
Travelers can now continue to enjoy daily flight service to Panama City Beach’s Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport through November 6.
The airline has one last major New York expansion, which includes flights from Westchester County Airport to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Delta will also be adding new services from Salt Lake City to Little Rock, Arkansa, and from Austin to Palm Springs, California.
UNITED AIRLINES
United Airlines unexpectedly canceled flights from the Texas to Cuba, beginning on September 2.
Customers can no longer book flights between Havana and Houston beyond September 1.
The suspension will last the entire winter season, according to papers seen by The U.S. Sun.
“We make regular adjustments to our flight schedule based on seasonality, demand, and other market factors,” a spokesperson for United told The U.S. Sun.
