BROCKPORT, N.Y. — As many colleges are welcoming students back to campus this week, SUNY Brockport is welcoming over 2,000 new undergraduate students, which the university says is the largest first-year class in nearly 50 years.
The university says overall, their enrollment has increased more than 20% since 2022.

Along with new undergraduate students, the university says they are welcoming over 420 new graduate students and 54 international students from ten different countries.
In the Rochester area, other schools have also welcomed both new and returning students back to their campuses this week, such as the University of Rochester, St. John Fisher University, Nazareth University, Monroe Community College, and the Rochester Institute of Technology.
