The university is leaving Under Armour and is expected to announce a new apparel deal for its athletic teams with Nike on Friday, according to a report by The Post and Courier on Thursday morning.
South Carolina’s reported new deal with Nike would signal the end of a decade-long deal with Under Armour. Nike’s “Swoosh” logo will be on South Carolina uniforms and all team gear starting with the 2026-27 academic year.

South Carolina athletics has been with Under Armour since 2007, when the university initially signed a 6-year contract worth $10.8 million that was for football-only apparel.
