Last season, Murphy recorded 2,933 passing yards, 26 passing touchdowns, and 12 interceptions on a 60.3% completion percentage. He also helped Duke to a 9-4 record before transferring a second time.
Murphy no doubt has the physical tools: at 6 feet 5 inches and 234 pounds, he may prove to be the type of player who can help the fanbase generate some much-needed excitement and potentially surprise some teams this season, too.
