Chase Daniel enjoyed a very successful career as a quarterback. He put together one of the best careers for any quarterback in Missouri history, and followed that up with a long career in the NFL. During the summer, FS1 made some adjustments to its programming schedule, and his show was one that was cancelled. However, Daniel is reportedly heading to ESPN, where he will be a college football analyst for both live broadcasts, as well as making appearances on different shows.

Daniel will be on the call with Clay Matvick on ESPN on Aug. 30 as Pittsburgh hosts Duquesne in a Week 1 opener, per FOS.
During his time at Missouri, Daniel threw for 12,515 yards, 101 touchdowns and 41 interceptions from 2005-2008. During the 2007 campaign, he finished 4th in the Heisman Trophy race, which is the second highest a Missouri player has ever finished.

His IQ and knowledge of the game helped him stay in the NFL for many years, where he served as a backup quarterback from 2009-2022. He played for the Saints, Chiefs, Eagles, Bears and the Chargers, starting 5 games in his career.
Those traits that helped him stay in the NFL for years is also a huge reason why he has been able to carry that over into a successful career as a football analyst.
