Charles Kelley and The Clarks will be the opening acts for the YLIVE concert headlined by John Mayer.
Kelley is a founding member of the Grammy-winning country act Lady A (formerly Lady Antebellum), but he’s also released three solo albums, including “Songs for a New Moon” earlier this year. The lead track “Can’t Lose You” was a hit on adult contemporary radio.
Songs he’s co-written have been recorded by such artists as Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Brett Young.
The Clarks are Pittsburgh musical royalty in their 40th year of performing together. The group regularly fills large venues in western Pennsylvania and frequently comes across the border for Mahoning Valley dates. The band appeared on “Late Show with David Letterman” and had its music used on “The Simpsons.”
Tickets for the Sept. 26 show at Wean Park in Youngstown start at $65 and are available through Ticketmaster.
